The ANAN Experience is a faith-based community devoted to uniting people from all walks of life in spirit-led worship. Through music, prayer, and fellowship, ANAN seeks to reveal the goodness of God and invite others into deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
The website was created to reflect this mission. It serves as a digital space that not only informs but also ushers users into an atmosphere of peace, purpose, and reverence. It introduces the vision of worship, transformation, and unity while highlighting events, community values, and calls to action for deeper engagement.

UI/UX Designer: I led the design of the website, focusing on structure, flow, and visual harmony that aligned with ANAN’s spiritual essence.
Content Strategist: I helped define how the mission, vision, and event information would be structured and presented, ensuring clarity and emotional connection.
Copywriter: I crafted all the website copy, aiming to communicate a heartfelt, clear, and inspiring message across every section.
Tools Used:
Figma for wireframing and high-fidelity UI design
Google Docs for drafting, refining, and collaborating on copy and content layout

My Design Process
Discovery: I began by studying ANAN’s mission and vision in depth, using this to anchor all creative decisions.
I also reviewed other ministry and community-driven websites to identify effective layouts and emotional tones that we could draw inspiration from.
Information Architecture & Content Planning: I mapped out the site structure, including the homepage, about page, event sections, and call-to-actions.
At the same time, I began writing and refining content to clearly communicate the heart of ANAN without overwhelming new visitors.Wireframes & Prototyping: Using Figma, I created low-fidelity wireframes to establish flow and hierarchy.
These were then transformed into high-fidelity designs with a focus on serene, modern visuals, including soft gradients, large breathable type, and imagery that evokes the spiritual themes of ANAN.Content Integration: Once the UI was finalized, I integrated the written content, carefully balancing spiritual tone with accessibility and warmth.
Special attention was paid to copy hierarchy and microcopy on buttons and calls to action to maintain consistency and clarity.
Challenges and Observations
Translating a Spiritual Atmosphere Digitally: Designing a website that conveys the presence of God and the depth of worship was a unique challenge. I leaned into minimal, airy layouts, sacred imagery, and gentle typography to express peace and reverence.
Writing for Emotion and Clarity: The copy had to feel both spiritually rich and easy to understand, especially for newcomers. I iterated on tone and phrasing multiple times to strike the right balance between inspiration and accessibility.
Prioritizing Simplicity: With limited navigation items and focused content, I aimed for a smooth and distraction-free experience. Every section was designed to answer a need, from understanding the vision to finding out how to participate.
Non-Technical Handoff :Since I wasn’t involved in development, I had to ensure all design and content documentation was clear and ready for a smooth handoff to the developer.
